Upto what age are the players useful?

If a player crosses 30 is he useless?

 it's just that after 30 a player starts loosing skills but fall in skill is not very rapid.... it will take at least 2-3 seasons for an excellent old player to become useless

Loosing skills is just one of the problem ! The other problem is fitness ...

It is optimal to use fitness and fielding training sessions two times in a season. With old players they loose fitness rapidly then younger ones and you have to schedule a lot of fitness training sessions. And this would effect your long term plans as your training plans are always interrupted. 

Once you start observing that, its time you take the hard decision of firing him and finding replacements.
