A certain player of mine has had a dip of ~2k in SI. why? he was trained in batting considerably over time... and now all that is pointless...? not getting the intent here.

@Shashank..the drop in SI....did it happen in batting skills...i mean did the batting skills decrease...???or its just in fielding

I can't remember what portion of it fell - but his overall SI fell by 2k...

the rest have fallen in proportion of 10-20% or around that mark. Difficult to say... I can hardly remember the names of the players- let alone their personal skills! :(

A player's performance will NOT be effected at all by the changes we are running now. He will play just as well on Sunday as he did yesterday (unless his form drops tom)

@shka & kartik: which player are you talking abt?

@kashyap: I was talking about this particular player... http://hitwicket.com/player/show/14887/Faneemdra-Nimmakayala
He "used" to be my second most skilled person in the team... until something happened. Have a look when you can.

and I see, some of my players' SI have hit the roof (mostly bowlers)..

SI would fall only if he had high fielding and no worthy bowing skills....is that the case?
His salary too would've fallen

Yes... That's the case  but are u implying that 2k worth of SI drop is attributed towards fielding only? Not the batting ability or stars?

Hi,

I have a question...
1) if the skill index of the bowlers increase/decrease  then will it not impact their ability to perform because the difference of SI is what enables the batsman  to score runs or get out.

Players with high fielding skill and low BV will lose some some SI....this will not effect his performance in any way.
The only change is, you will be paying him less salary ;)
