MAN OF THE MATCH

by purushotham 98 months ago
BASED ON WHAT CONDITION  MAN OF THE MATCH WAS ANNOUNCING?
AFTER RESULTS OF THE MATCH BETWEEN ANDHRA SUPER XI Vs AVENGERS ON 29/08/2012 I WAS CONFUSED ABOUT MAN OF THE MATCH....
MAN OF THE MATCH WAS DECLARED TO PRATHIK MEHTA (AVENGERS TEAM) WHO HAS SCORED ONLY 9 RUNS AND NONE OF THE WICKETS TAKEN....
UPTO WHAT EXTENT IT IS REASONABLE!!!!

That is definitely a bug, we will take a look and rectify the problem.

To clarify,
The MoM takes into consideration (not in the below order)
- how many runs he scored
- how fast compared to rest of your team,
- did the player's team win or lose
- how many wickets he took
- what was his economy compared to his team mates, etc

After observation of the above match i came to know that MoM Is declared as per batting average (how many runs he scored is not taken into consideration)  ..
Above player prathik mehta scored only 9 runs but his batting average is 300 is high when compared to all batsmen .
This is definitely a bug.

There was a bug in the calculation of a player's impact on the match due to his Strike Rate . This has been fixed now.
please let us know if you think the problem persists.

thanks

I think the effect of a player's performance on the team win is not being taken into consideration right now. For example you can check the last match of my team. Harshal Verma from the losing team was given man of the match, but all he did was bowl economically.
