You can change the training focus anytime during the week, but only the training focus that is active on Saturday at 7 am is applied. So in this case only your seam bowlers will get trained, the batsmen won't get trained.

cherian (MilesDavis): More UI requests: while setting the lineup, id like to see player form easily (runs/wickets in the last 3 matches)

Form (decent, good, etc) and performance (runs/wickets) are completely different. A player maybe in good form but get out for a duck based on the quality of the opposing bowler. 'Performance' is therefore a very skewed metric for player selection, thats why we are not highlighting it in the orders page.
We are releasing a redesign of the player page later this week, lemme know if the 'form' is clear enough in the new design.

cherian (MilesDavis): "match engine (ME)" kashyap, so you're the match engine?

naah, it's neither human nor does it have a weakness for Jack Daniels... ;)

jijeesh_r (The Vagabonds): Whats with "All Star Team of the Division"? Players like P Adamson(My Team), T Vogel(Cherry) or Laurantus(Shashank) are any day better statistically than the players out there.

By 'statistically' better you mean performance (runs/wickets)? The various All star teams are calculated purely on the star rating during the match, they don't take performance as such into account.
The top 6 highest rated batsmen and 5 highest rated bowlers make it to the list. We are working on ways to incorporate best wicketkeeper soon.

Kashyap: If I start training my players in "Batting Spin" on Monday and if I change the focus to "Bowling Seam" on Thursday. How will it affect my training progress ?

It doesn't matter which training they played their match under, only the training that is active on Saturday 7 am is applied to all.
You may have noticed the notification message, '5 players got training this week in Batting Spin'?
