different leagues

Besides the fact you advance to a higher division n ur sponsor value goes up.. what are the other advantages of bumping to a higher league?

Do the players train faster/harder? I'm sure the experience form would be a valuable factor there and that might change too...

But in view of progression to another league, there are so many questions... what's the incentive for bumping up to another level?

The competition increases, so your approach towards strategy should improve! Every match is a challenge! Even playing and winning against BOT teams will be difficult! On the last Wednesday, in our league (II.2) two BOT teams won against human teams. And as I see your league, you in the 2nd position, so for the next season also you will be in the same division! Only the champion from every league goes to the above divison!

you guys missed the obvious one, you are one step closer to winning the Hitwicket Premier (top div) ;)

nope, no diff in terms of training, but your fan club size limit is bigger for higher divs.

And how does that profit me?

Shouldn't there be an added advantage for progressing to another league ?

Say for starters: hiring better youth squad?

There should be a parallel world which looks after the youth squad in ur training facility.

@shka : new Youth system is coming soon, but it will not be dependent on how good ur current team is (aka which Div you are in), or else the good teams will keep getting better while the new teams can never catch up.

We are still debating about a few details, thats why the announcement hasn't come yet.
basically you will be allowed to recruit foreign players too and the probability of getting good ones can be controlled with a bit of strategy...

there you go, a vague-as-hell answer, but the best I cud muster without committing to something yet to be decided... ;)

umm... but the probability of them retaining those *better* youth players will also be limited right?

I dont expect them to have a purse high enough to have 30 people in the team.
