Hitwicket World Cup

by Sir Soulcollector (The Frozen Throne) 2 months ago
Hello Managers,  The long wait is finally over!  The Hitwicket World Cup is here and it's bigger and better than ever! This year we're merging the Intercontinental Cup and the World Cup into ONE BIG TOURNAMENT making this a grand World Cup.   Nepal and Afghanistan have made the World look up to them in International Cricket and hence, they will rightfully join the quest to become Hitwicket World Champions this year. We would like to invite managers from Nepal & Afghanistan to change their regions via the Android or FB App. The region switch is applicable only once & is irreversible.  Rules: Managers can nominate themselves for Head Coach from 8th March 2017 till 14th March 2017 Minimum Manager level required for nomination is Masterful Managers can nominate themselves for only ONE region A HC can appoint Three Assistant Coaches and a PRO to join him One of the Assistant Coaches must be from the same region Assistant coach must be at least Exemplary Manager level All Managers who joined the game before 1st March '17 and have reached at least Accomplished Manager level are eligible to vote.  Bonus Vote: all Managers who are Masterful & above can cast a Bonus Vote. Bonus vote can be cast in ANY Region. In the future editions of the WC, there will be more restrictions on the usage of the Bonus vote. The Intercontinental Cup (IC) was created to prevent teams from the smaller regions from getting hammered by the big teams in the WC. However, it has become unviable for us to conduct two tournaments like this.  In order to give a one time boost to the talent pool of the smaller regions and make them atleast competitive, we will allow players from other regions to be shifted to these IC regions using credits. The players must be no older than 24 years, as we do not want the teams to assemble a fully trained team of stars overnight.  On a long term, the new scout system planned for this summer will ensure a better balance to all regions. Teams who played in the last IC are eligible for the player region change: Nepal, Afghanistan, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Assam Blasting, Goa, Haryana, Sikkim, Chhattisgarh, Nagaland, Ireland, Zimbabwe, New Zealand, Meghalaya, Australia, Telangana, Karnataka, England, Jharkhand, Bangladesh, Himachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh.  It's time to start working on those grand election campaigns! :D http://hitwicket.com/cup/nominations/3 Please note, some rules have been changed since yesterday's announcement.
